I like the fact that you don’t have to be a computer geek to use it. I have used Team Viewer for several years to help some of my truck driver friends fix minor problems with their computers. I have been using workarounds for many Logmein problems for years and it is a breath of fresh air to finally discover a better solution. They are just milking the product for all they can get out of it. There is no real technical staff at Logmein any longer. Customer support is excellent, compared to Logmein which is virtually non-existent. It is certainly faster and easier to use. I have been using TeamViewer for a few weeks now and I am very happy to report it is not only 1/3 the cost, but works better. Logmein has seemed to have changed hands several times and is now in the hands of investors who have no interest in the long term prospects of the technology and are making very aggressive moves to maximize their profits over the short run. I have been a Logmein customer for a very long time, probably something like 10 years. After that, if Logmein is still installed on your computer, please uninstall it because it will only be annoying.
After that date, if you want my remote support, it will be up to you to install TeamViewer. Up until that date, I can install TeamViewer for you. Logmein, which I am replacing with TeamViewer for remote support, will still be usable on your computers until mid-September. If I have not yet done yours, please contact me. I have installed TeamViewer on almost all of your computers. I sent this out to my roughly 140 clients this week.
